I witnessed a familiar sight this week of a new project manager (a teacher) being surrounded by software staff talking about Scrum, agile, Agile Scrum, ITIL, kanban, etc
I pointed her in the direction of Wikipedia for the rugby-related derivation of Scrum (which some of the software people didn’t know), showed that it was not an acronym (the meeting papers had Scrum in capital letters) and then recommended a clear post by Derek Heuther and my previous posting back in September on Scrum terminology
